The macOS build is officially signed and distributed by Foo AI Corp., so a matching hash confirms the file is the original, with no tampering.
Getting started in two steps
On first launch, Apioni automatically sets up the AI engine and models it needs. There's nothing to install separately and no terminal to open.
Download and run
Open the file you downloaded, move Apioni to your Applications folder, and launch it. On first launch it downloads the AI engine and models it needs, just once, with a progress indicator (a few GB, sized to your machine). After that it runs without an internet connection.
Connect a folder
Connect a folder of documents and you're ready. The documents in that folder never leave your computer.
