Verify it yourself with a single line in the terminal
While you're using Apioni, run the following in your terminal and you'll see every connection Apioni has opened. Once first-time setup is done, answering your questions needs no outbound connection.

Frequently asked questions
How do I start the free trial?
Download it from the download page and start using it right away. No payment, card, or account required. You won't be charged automatically when the 14 days are up, and whenever you'd like to keep using it, you can purchase a license key and enter it to switch to the full version.
How many devices can one license cover?
A license is granted per purchasing entity (a corporation, sole proprietor, or individual) and does not technically limit the number of devices. Within the scope of company staff using it for work, you can install it freely on multiple devices across the company. Individual purchases are limited to your own personal use.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. An internet connection is needed only for the first download of the AI engine and models; after that, every question and answer is processed entirely on your own computer.
Can the answers be wrong?
Generative AI can be wrong. That's why Strict mode is designed to return only answers verified against your documents, and to say it couldn't find anything when there's no evidence. General-knowledge answers from Balanced and Free modes need review, just as with any other AI.
How do I get updates?
When a new version is released, you download and install it directly from the download page.
Can I use it on Windows?
Yes. We support both macOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows 10/11. Just download the installer for your operating system from the download page.
Can I get a refund?
Before you receive your license key, you can withdraw your purchase and get a full refund for any reason. After you've received the license key, because the 14-day free trial gave you ample opportunity to evaluate the product before paying, refunds for a simple change of mind are not available. However, you can still receive a refund in cases guaranteed by law, for example a significant defect in the product, or a payment made by a minor without the consent of a legal guardian.
